NOTICE TO BIDDERS

AND ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed lumped bids will be received by the Village of Ripley, 123 Waterworks Road, Ripley, Brown County, Ohio 45167 at its offices until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 5, 2025; and will be publicly opened and read immediately thereafter for the:

Rankin Hill Road Improvements

Project Location: Second Street and Rankin Hill Road, Ripley, Ohio

The project work shall consist of installation of soil nailing and new pavement.

A pre-bid meeting for all bidders will be held at Second Street and Rankin Hill Road on November 21, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. EST local time.  All prospective bidders are required to attend.  Contracted engineer will provide responses at pre-bid meeting to bidders’ questions that were received at least two business days prior to meeting.

Federal prevailing wage rates and equal employment opportunity requirements are applicable to this project. The Village of Ripley reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and the right to accept the lowest and best bid, the right to waiver minor irregularities on any bid, and the right to accept the bid proposal which promotes the best interest of the Village of Ripley.

Each bid must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the bid and all persons interested therein.  Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio Products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project.
