Home and Business Decorating Contest

Ripley River Village Christmas invites homeowners and businesses to get into the holiday spirit and light up our community! Join together in making this season extra special by participating in the annual Ripley River Village Christmas Home and Business Decorating Contest. Show off your creativity, spread joy to your neighbors and make this a holiday to remember. Whether you’re going for classic elegance, a winter wonderland or something totally unique, every home or business adds magic to our neighborhoods.  

It’s easy to enter. Just complete an Entry Form then decorate your home or business and let the holiday lights shine.  Cash prizes will be awarded to top three residential winners and a fabulous trophy will be given to the winning business.

Participants may pick up Entry Forms at the following locations:

     ✨ Ripley Village offices, 123 Waterworks Rd.

     🎁  Brookies Restaurant, 20 Main St.

     🎅 Applegate’s Auto, 900 S 2nd St.

     🎄  Ripley Library, 104 N. Second Street.

Completed homeowners’ entries must be dropped off at the Village offices by 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 11.

Completed business entries must be dropped off at the Village offices by Friday, December 6.

The winners of the home and business decorating contest will be announced at the Ripley Library Tree Lighting on Friday, December 13, which begins at 5:30.

The Ripley Women’s Club has the hard task of judging participating homeowner entries on Dec. 12 after 7 p.m. Ripley residents will help select the winning business entry.
